heyo, for that ‘i love gay people but the Bible-‘ one, near the 9:20 mark, i checked out the verses. only two (Leviticus and Timothy) had anything to say about homosexuality (the others discussed ‘sexual immorality’ and Sodom/Gomorrah). with the Leviticus passage, it has long been known that the passage (one shalt not lie with a man like one does a woman) properly translates to be about either inc*st or p*dophilia. i’m not too caught up with the Timothy translation, but the most basic one (closest to Hebrew) i found translates the passage to not mean ‘homosexuals’ but instead ‘men stealers’ (slavers). if i messed anything up, let me know.
